Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of manual and automation QA professionals.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs to enhance team skills.
• Mentor junior team members to nurture future QA leaders.

QA Architecture

• Participate in product architecture discussions to bring the QA perspective.
• Understand and address security, performance, and non-functional requirements.
• Design testing setups, including components, resources, and data generation strategies.
• Audit and refine QA processes to ensure compliance with standards and foster continuous improvement.

Testing Strategy and Execution

• Develop and implement robust test strategies and plans.
• Oversee detailed test case creation, execution, and results.
• Ensure comprehensive coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
• Manage and maintain test environments and associated data.

Quality Assurance Processes

• Define and maintain QA best practices and methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Continuously improve testing techniques, tools, and methodologies.

Collaboration and Communication

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Development, Product Management, and Operations.
• Communicate test progress, results, and updates to stakeholders.
• Align with other teams on project timelines and deliverables.

Hands-On Testing

• Actively engage in testing activities to maintain hands-on expertise.
• Develop automation scripts for backend (APIs) and frontend testing.
• Perform manual and automated testing as required.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during the testing phase.

Project Management

• Plan, track, and report on testing activities and project progress.
• Manage resources to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with quality assurance processes.
